Burna Boy is back with a brand new track “Odogwu” produced by Kel P, the song marks the first track of 2020 for the Nigerian singer-songwriter.
“Odogwu” is a word often used for “Leader” in the popular Igbo language. According to Burna Boy, whenever he is in Igbo Land, they should call him “Odogwu”.
Last year, Burna Boy dropped his latest album African Giant, which was nominated for Best World Music Album at this year’s Grammys. Since that release, he’s shared the one-off single “Money Play.” He’s also hopped on tracks by Stormzy, Jorja Smith, and more.
Burna Boy’s forthcoming Twice as Tall tour kicks off May 7 in Atlanta.
