Raised in an environment fueled by creativity, Leon’s journey started early, guided by his older brother, who pushed him to master the piano, and cousins who opened the doors to studio life before he even had one of his own. That foundation turned into a lifelong passion, shaping a producer and artist capable of moving across genres with ease.
Drawing inspiration from industry heavyweights like Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Jermaine Dupri, Brian Michael Cox, Pharrell, Scott Storch, David Guetta, and Ryan Leslie, Leon blends polished Top 40 appeal with his own original touch. But beyond the legends, it’s his close circle that continues to sharpen his sound. His approach is simple but powerful: sit down at the keyboard, let the melodies flow, and build something that feels undeniable.
De Leon’s music isn’t boxed into one lane. Whether it’s pop, R&B, or dance-ready records, his goal remains the same: to create great music that connects. From working with singer-songwriter Ineska Winter to producing “Na Zawsze” for Efi’s Ikigai album released by Warner Music Poland, Leon the Lion De Leon is steadily building an international resume.
A major turning point came when he reconnected with Grammy-associated collaborator Jakub Liszko after time away from music, a period marked by personal loss and a shift into powerlifting. Returning to the studio reignited his purpose, pushing him to chase even bigger goals, including bringing home a Grammy alongside his brother in music.
Through it all, Leon stays grounded in originality. He separates life from music when needed, but channels real emotions into every melody he creates. The result? Records that make people feel something, whether it’s joy, energy, or the urge to move.
