Born Keenan Deal and raised in East St. Louis, the viral personality is preparing to introduce the world to a new side of himself through his debut mixtape, Champagne Scars, arriving in July 2026.
While fans may recognize him from collaborations with Desi Banks, That Boy Too Funny, Reggie Baby, and Robiii World, music has always been part of his journey.
“Music has always been a passion of mine,” Laid3 says. “I’m deciding now that it’s something I have to pursue.”
The project draws inspiration from real-life experiences, including periods of homelessness that tested his faith and determination.
“Being homeless and still having hope is something that drives me daily,” he shares.
Despite the challenges, Laid3 remains focused on building a lasting legacy for his son Ashton and future generations. Alongside the mixtape, he’s preparing to launch Straight Like That, a podcast centered on entertainment, culture, politics, and highlighting emerging artists.
As he steps into this new chapter, Laid3 hopes listeners walk away with one message: “Pain and heartbreak don’t last always. Bigger blessings are on the other side.”
