King Jai is making his long-awaited return with new single ‘Baby’, set for release on the 3rd of August. With a high energy performance, Jai’s flow dances around the beat, showcasing his talent in full effect. His flow is enticing and there’s plenty of personality behind the words, with his rapping being confident and audacious throughout. The beat features an awesome sample, with the Baby vocal chop driving the track throughout, being used rhythmically alongside the rest of the production and horn chord stabs.
The kick and snare punch right through, while the tops equal the energy with dynamic rhythms from start to finish. This is the artist’s first release to feature a self-produced beat, and what a track to set the bar with. We also see fellow rapper King Elway feature, hitting us with another great verse just to add to the already impressive track.
