Through self-reflection and analysis, KGZ identified his strengths and weaknesses, allowing him to grow as an artist. Overcoming personal struggles, including depression, has also shaped KGZ’s music and his ability to spread love and self-acceptance through his art.
Looking ahead, KGZ envisions himself making a living through music by focusing on streaming and producing for other artists. He aspires to become a well-known name in New Orleans as an artist and a top rapper in the industry. KGZ’s dreams include producing for upcoming artists in his city and releasing an all-beat tape featuring collaborations with other artists, similar to the style of Kaytranada. He wants to be an asset for artists in a similar position and create music that resonates with people’s lives.
