Kawhi Leonard had many wondering where he was going to head during his brief stint as a free agent before dropping the bomb that he was heading to the LA Clippers, and that Paul George was heading there as well. Now, a report has surfaced noting that Leonard tried to make moves to get Kevin Durant on the Clippers as well.
ESPN revealed that Leonard planned to always make his way to the Clippers and that he reached out to Durant while in the middle of trying to get Paul George on the Clippers.
Ramona Shelburne of ESPN said Durant was appreciative of the call from Kawhi, but that Durant already had planned on making his way to the Brooklyn Nets.
