John Legend A Legendary Christmas Album and Tour Date

John Legend has announced the forthcoming release of A Legendary Christmas, his first holiday album, along with a full list of tour dates. The record is due Oct. 26 via Columbia Records. With Raphael Saadiq serving as executive producer, the 14-track project features Stevie Wonder on harmonica in the opening song.

Following the release of the album, Legend will hit the road for a 25-date accompanying tour. The tour kicks off Nov. 15 in Clearwater, Fla. and hits several major cities before wrapping up Dec. 30 in San Diego, Calif. Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public on Friday (Oct. 5).

The recently anointed EGOT winner joins the likes of Jessie J and Ingrid Michaelson as those planning to drop holiday projects on Oct. 26. Jessie J’s This Christmas Day features Boyz II Men, Babyface and more, while Michaelson has already released “Looks Like a Cold, Cold Winter,” the first single from Songs for the Season.
