Raphael Monperousse, better known by Rek Banga Da Hoodrock Star or  Rek Banga  , is a rising force in the rap scene. Born on March 4th, 1996, to a Haitian father and African American mother, his multicultural background infuses his music with a unique blend of influences. 

Hailing from the crossroads of Trenton, NJ, and Bristol, PA, Rek Banga’s journey into the music industry began with a bang in 2016 with the release of his debut track, “Where Ya Look At.” Since then, he’s been on a relentless pursuit of perfecting his craft, driven by his passion for music and the desire to provide for his family.

Rek Banga’s goals within the music industry extend far beyond personal success. He aims to not only take care of his loved ones but also dreams of one day having his own television series, a testament to his ambition and creative vision.
