I genuinely feel I am in the best position to achieve my creative ambitions.”

EMPIRE will be overseeing “the release and promotion” of new music from Azalea which includes her follow-up to 2014’s The New Classic.

“The ability to have control of my own artistic future is a long-awaited and monumental change in my life. I genuinely feel I am in the best position to achieve my creative ambitions,” EMPIRE CEO Ghazi Shami said.

Iggy announced her deal last week but didn’t share too much information on the deal. However, she did say that she’s 100% independent and that the deal was worth $2.7M.
