I’m Chris James Singer/Songwriter from Detroit Michigan. I love music because it’s an extension of myself. Whatever I’m feeling whether it be pain or joy I can express it through my music. Music has also saved my life, it’s been my therapist and my release for my hardest times. Something that makes me different is my overall sound. The way I attack Melodie’s and blend harmonies together is unlike most artists.
I have a church background so my voice has a lot of soul and I love to fill up my background with vocals to round out the sound. In 5 years I see myself on my 3rd studio album. Have won R&B album of the year, as well as Best New Male R&B artist. I also plan to be starting a non-profit homeless shelter in Detroit, MI by then as well. I wish to accomplish generational wealth, pure happiness, and to be able to say that I put my all into my music and it returned the favor.
To the music world I bring real R&B, I bring real stories, and I bring real vibes. I want to be remembered by my lyricism, my tone and vocal control as well as my genuineness as a person and I want my music to always portray who I am.
