Interviewer: So, to start off, can you tell us your artist name and where you’re from?
Qumar Bandz: My artist name is Qumar Bandz, and I’m from Warren, Ohio.
Interviewer: Nice! What inspired you to start making music?
Qumar Bandz: Honestly, it’s my passion for music. I’ve always been artistically gifted, and that natural inclination to create has really driven me to pursue music. It’s a way for me to express myself and connect with others.
Interviewer: That’s really powerful. What’s the story behind your latest release?
Qumar Bandz: My latest release is my first album, titled Poetry in Motion. It’s about expressing how I feel about my current status as a musician. It’s a journey of becoming the person I want to be and learning to boldly believe in myself throughout the process. It’s really personal and reflects where I am in my career right now.
Interviewer: That sounds like a deeply reflective project. What have been some of your biggest accomplishments so far?
Qumar Bandz: One of the biggest things I’ve done is traveling to put more spotlight on my music career. I’ve had the chance to perform in Miami, and I’ve also gone to New York to work on a music video and record some new songs. Additionally, I’ve been working with Very Rare Cinema, a production company that has worked with both big and small artists in the industry. It’s been great collaborating with them.
Interviewer: That’s awesome, it sounds like you’re making big moves! What are your plans for this year?
Qumar Bandz: This year, my main focus is to solidify myself as an officially recognized artist. I’m planning to leave my job and pursue my music full time. I’m ready to go all-in and make my mark in the industry.
