Exclusive Interview: Rising Artist D.D.Oreyo

What is your name and what city do you rep?

D.D.Oreyo rep the “850” Destin, Fl

Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?

My latest release “850 Flow”

What inspired me to make this song: was to take something old and fresh and revive it with a twist of my own for the listeners.

What is unique about you and your music?

My uniqueness: all starts from the heart, not trying to duplicate someone else. That’s what sets me apart from the jump. Along with the country ghetto vocal I have throughout my music.

What shaped your music?

What shaped my music: was being more consistent and courageous about my music. If I want it bad enough, I would have to not give up. Truth is: not giving up.

When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

Realizing I was gonna make music professionally: when I felt that I wasn’t forcing myself to make music bc I actually love it! It’s crazy doing what you love and you actually get paid for it!

What type of music do you listen to?

The type of music I listen to is all over the place! From (hip hop to rock, country R&B, bluegrass, Motown, reggae, hard rock, gospel and etc. list goes on!

What inspires you to write music?

I write all my music: what inspires me to write is to “light up first” meaning smoking marijanna. I tend to meditate when I do that. Then the words just flow though my mind and hands.

What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?

When I’m not doing anything “music wise” or at work. I like to chill out in the backyard, chillin in a hammock sipping kool aid under the trees 🤙🏾 part of meditation for what’s yet to come.

Happiness to you is…

Happiness to me is: “Growth and development” having a plan. Setting goals to match that plan, is pure happiness to me! Also on being yourself in the process 💯

What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?

One thing I wish I was told when I first start doing music: was “promotion scams” I done been caught in many of them! “Anything is too good to be true, and promising music streams” is one big fat scam! DO NOT BUY ANY MUSIC STREAMS FOR YOUR MUSIC!

Tell us about your upcoming projects…

As you know I just released a single in “July 31,”

(850 flow). I will be dropping another single this coming 2 months! So stay and watch!

Where do we find you music / music projects?

You can find my music on any streaming platform you prefer 🤙🏾

Any last words for the readers?

My last words are: “be yourself, don’t let anybody put you in a box. Your (Oreyo)”: Exceptional 🤙🏾
