The “God’s Plan” rapper, channeled his own dad, Dennis Graham, for his most recent Halloween costume. Stepping out on Wednesday night, Drake wore a knit skull cap, glasses, fake beard and linen tunic to perfectly match his flamboyant father’s style.
“Not planned,” Drake captioned the photo.
His costume was a hit with his friends including Diddy, Jamie Foxx, La La Anthony, and Swae Lee, who commented, “Twinning.”
Fans were happy to see the pair together after the duo got into a slight war of words earlier this month.
Drake – or Champagne Papi as he likes to call himself on Instagram – admitted that he has been left ‘so hurt’ by his father after Dennis accused Drake of lying about their relationship in his music.
“Woke up today so hurt, man. My father will say anything to anyone that’s willing to listen to him,” he said. “It’s sad when family gets like this, but what can we really do? That’s the people we are stuck with. Every bar I ever spit was the truth and the truth is hard for some people to accept.”
It’s no secret that the pair haven’t had the best relationship over the years and Drake has been known to address his childhood – especially his dad not being around – in his tracks.
