Drake has added another streaming achievement to his already extensive résumé, with his latest album, Iceman, reportedly becoming the longest-running No. 1 hip-hop album in U.S. Apple Music history.
The project has now spent 46 days at the top of the U.S. Apple Music albums chart, surpassing a record previously shared by two other Drake releases. Both 2021’s Certified Lover Boy and 2023’s For All the Dogs reportedly remained at No. 1 for 44 days.
The accomplishment means Drake has once again broken a benchmark that he originally established himself. It also highlights the continued streaming strength of Iceman, which has remained one of the biggest hip-hop releases of 2026 several weeks after its arrival.
Songs including “Janice STFU,” “Shabang” and “Burning Bridges” have helped maintain the album’s momentum across streaming platforms. Rather than experiencing only a strong opening week, the project has continued attracting repeat listeners and remaining competitive against newer releases.
Drake released Iceman on May 15, 2026, alongside two additional projects, Habibti and Maid of Honour. Despite all three albums arriving at the same time, Iceman quickly emerged as the biggest commercial performer of the group. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 463,000 equivalent album units, giving Drake another major opening week.
The album’s songs also produced an impressive run on the Billboard Hot 100. All 18 tracks from Iceman appeared on the chart for three consecutive weeks, becoming the first album reported to accomplish that feat. “Janice STFU,” “Shabang” and the Future and Molly Santana-assisted “Ran to Atlanta” were among the songs that reached the chart’s top 20.
“Janice STFU” became another major record for Drake after reaching No. 1 and holding the position for multiple weeks. The song marked his first multi-week Billboard Hot 100 leader since “In My Feelings” dominated the chart in 2018.
The success of Iceman continues a historic year for the Toronto superstar. The album became Drake’s 15th No. 1 project on the Billboard 200, tying Taylor Swift for the most chart-topping albums among solo artists. He also became the first performer to occupy the top three positions on the Billboard 200 simultaneously when Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour debuted at Nos. 1, 2 and 3.
Although Drake has spent more than a decade setting records across sales, radio and streaming, the performance of Iceman shows that his commercial reach remains difficult to match. By moving beyond the 44-day Apple Music record held by two of his own previous albums, Drake has once again raised the standard for sustained streaming success in hip-hop.
