Donald Trump spoke with Fox News about the impending economic crisis as a result of COVID-19 and argued in favor of reopening businesses across the country to stave off a complete economic depression.
But Trump took it a step further and said that for all the deaths that come as a result of the flu or this current virus, it will pale in comparison to the amount of death that will result from economic collapse.
Trump said that an economic depression would bring “suicides by the thousands.”
