Last week, Nicki Minaj took over Apple’s Beats 1 Radio for her Queen Radio Show, as well as the Joe Budden Podcast. During both sessions, she went to address her belief that there was a Nicki hate movement going on – spearheaded by radio personalities, online bloggers and music labels.
Well, DJ Akademiks was one of the names Onika shaded in her rants, as he decided to go in-depth on their history. While showing respect for her talent, he touched on having private conversations with her, Drake, 6ix9ine and Cardi B about recent events.
“Ask her about Drake. Ask her why the f*ck is her music flopping,” he said. “‘Megatron‘ went on the charts and fell the f*ck off in four weeks.” He added that she can’t stay on the charts unless she’s on someone’s remix. He also said that he’s petty, and the best thing Nicki could do is leave his name out of her mouth. If she doesn’t, every time she releases a song, he will track it and then detail when it falls off the charts.
He even went as far as to say she allegedly tried to get him fired from a platform at the start of his mainstream career. Take a look at Ak’s response in full below.
