New Britain, CT, Dmts Network has released “Who runs this state” to all music platforms, DJs, music playlist and bloggers everywhere on 4/12/2020. The song is really starting to spread like wile fire after the artist Dmts BKA Deivone M Tanksley Sr. take shots at some local Politicians.
Quote “Mr. Governor there’s drugs in our residents tell me what you want me to do come break grants with us, and to all the Mayors I swear there’s a cover up all these corner stores, dollar stores and liquor stores what the Fxxx is up.”
“Who Runs This State” is a song that highlights some powerful topics. After 12 years and 6 felonies Deivone received a full pardon. He touches on mass incarceration, prison reform & how we lose our young kids to the streets. He also calls out all the Politicians to step it up and fund more programs and provide better opportunities for the youth to keep them off the streets and from committing crime.
It speaks about the importance of generational wealth and things that the minority community should do as a people to create that for the next generation.
Deivone ran for Mayor in 2019 in his town and even though he didn’t win the seat others say he won something way more important, he won the people & the city!
