Capella Grey Releases Summer Hit “Gyalis”

The summer is here... and it just got hotter!

Many legendary multi talented artists call New York home. However, the Bronx is well-known for being the birthplace of hip hop. Hailing from Uptown Bronx, is Capella Grey. He started out his music career as a writer and producer. As a teenager, Grey was exposed to a variety of musical genres and styles. Which has influenced his unique musical style. Over time, he developed a strong desire to learn more about music. Capella utilizes his music to express himself and connect with his fans. He takes pride in being the new voice of Uptown, Bronx. He believes it is time for the rest of the world to see what true talent Uptown births.

The Curation Of Capella Grey and “Gyalis”

During the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic, Capella used the quarantine period to hop in the booth and take his talents to new heights. As a result, his post-quarantine  release “Gyalis” has been circulating all around the hip-hop headquarters and making noise! 

 

As his music continues to buzz around the city, he continues to garner recognition by some of Hip Hop’s greatest emcees and DJs. The self-produced record embodies the New York swag paired with the Island bounce. According to Power105.1, “‘Gyalis’ is the summer tune!”

Grey samples Juvenile’s “Back That Ass Up” and smoothly sings over the beat providing a Caribbean vibe. ‘Gyalis’ comes as the ideal track for a summer hit as it can be enjoyed by the masses. Capella Grey’s 

showcases his ability to blend a variety of music styles and lay it on to one track. His creativity and versatility is displayed as he simultaneously produced the entire track.
