Big Blanco is really just a cool, down to earth guy. Definitely a family guy. I have a wife and two kids, so you know that’s really what my life consists of.

I mean it all coincides when you have the right partner. See my wife, she’s my best friend. So whatever it is that I like to do, she’s right there with me to support me. However it goes. She’s not the average wife – my life partner type. As far as the kids go, they definitely have to have their time set aside. For example, every flashy thing y’all see me do online, my kids are doing double that to suffice for that.

For the most part I just go into the studio, play some beats. And whichever beats that really stick out to me, however I’m feeling that day I pretty much know what I’ll do. It really all depends on how I feel. Then, when I hear the beat, I know what I’m going to talk about when I hear the beat. It gives me an idea of what to talk about feel me?

I got the name Big Blanco. I’m half PR and half Black. So back in the days when I was in school, the kids knew I dibbled and dabbled in the Spanish a bit, but I was always clean. I always had jewelry and stuff like that on. So everyone was always like wow, you’re a boss man. We’re going to call you Blanco, Big Blanco. Then it just stuck with me.

Big Blanco Bangers and Artistry

Right, so I previously heard the beat for “1942” from my producer. He was actually saving it for me because he already knew what time it was. I was actually sitting on it. Even though I knew that was going to be my next record, it was a good feel good Summertime record. Then I did the verses and I just knew I needed someone else on the hooks, but I wasn’t sure who I was going to go for at first. But then I already had a relationship with Bigga. Bigga and I were on the road before when we were on tour going city to city. So we were already locked in. I already knew I wanted to get him in on that intro. Because when you get Bigga Rankin stamp, you know it’s going to be fire! I also already had a relationship with TK as well. We were in Atlanta, and after hearing what I put down I was just like his voice would go perfectly with this beat. I sent it to him, and he was like “man I gotta get on this”. It was history from there!

Yeah Illy Rock is my guy! As far as bringing visuals to life, he’s a beast. I would actually have to say on another video called “Poison”, it’s another good one so be sure to check it out. It’s really funny. I had a wig on in the video, some funny nerdy glasses. Everybody has dealt with someone who wasn’t the best person for them. So I referenced my experience with that and how it was poison and brought the music to it. In the video, I was acting like the one she was cheating with, and the one she was cheating on. I think people will see what I mean when they see it. It’s a good song too.

Hmmm. I would have to say it’s “I Can’t Go”. It’s near and dear to my heart. It speaks on the fact of me heading down the wrong path and going through the things that we all may go through.. Like my dad passed on me. Also, at that point I was dealing with some health issues so I thought I was dying. Glory to God, we got those things in order and everything is good to go but at the time, that’s how I was trying to release my pain. I was also trying to make amends with my family and just trying to let my mom know that although I gave her a hard time growing up – I finally got it together. That I still love my family. It was really like a prayer, ya know? I was prepared to leave this earth, but I couldn’t because I had more of my purpose to do.

I’m very versatile and make all types of music. I believe I have something for every listener out there. Really depends on the type of mood I’m in, and the type of person they are. But if I had to describe myself in a song and tell them to press play on… it would have to be that “1942”! Because that’s just good music. But if you are in a club mode, I would tell them to press play on that “Ja Morant” or “Motion” featuring Money Man. the list goes on. Depends on the type of person they are, and the type of mood that they’re in.

My thoughts on the game now, is that it’s wide open. Especially for someone like me. Also, I just love music and so many artists and what they contribute to the game so that’s hard. But I can throw a few names out there. My top 5 without any order but have influenced me… I would have to say Fat Joe, definitely Big Pun, 50 Cent, Eminem, Jay-Z, J. Cole. They’ve all influenced me throughout my life. And that’s just a couple.

What’s next?

You can expect more good music. I have about 100 songs in the cut. If you love what I’ve put out already, then you’ll really love these. Because, I have just been handing out jabs and saving the haymakers. You can also expect a project, but I’m not putting a date on that one just yet, but you can expect fire singles back to back right on time. 2024 I’m going to walk them down like I should.

Definitely. I appreciate you all and advise you to do whatever it is that makes you happy. Whatever makes you feel good. Take care of your family, if you have kids – take care of them. Do right by your mom and everyone. Just do the right thing.
