After teasing the track on social media for a few days, Ariana Grande and Victoria Monét join forces to release a new single, “Monopoly.” today, 1 April 2019.
The best friends show off their tight bond in the accompanying video for their friendship anthem. They brush off the bad vibes and film themselves on a rooftop in the emoji-filled clip.
In addition to securing bags, both women sing about their sexuality: “I like women and men / Work so f**kin’ much, need a twinny, twin, twin.”
Ariana Grande released her new album thank u, next in february. Monét co-wrote several tracks on the record, including “thank u, next” and “7 rings.”
