We recently reported on a management label making headlines in a major way. On Dummy Entertainment has been on the move since its establishment in 2020. Most known for managing acts like Baby C and Mic Jaay. On Dummy Entertainment has just added a new member to its roster; his name is Quez Dawg. Quez Dawg was born in Hurtsboro, Alabama; a small town surrounded by Auburn, Tuskegee, Phenix City, Alabama.
Growing up in a small town, Quez Dawg learned early what it took to be a man. He started rapping around the ages of 8 or 9. According to Quez, “I was just playing freestyling.” This hobby ultimately turned into something he took serious. In 2018, Quez began recording his music. He admits “I was just trying to figure it out.” It wasn’t until recently that Quez Dawg started really taking music serious.
In 2020 the released “Don’t Dap Me Up”, this song brought a lot of attention to Quez Dawg. Ironically it was his friend that practically made him get in the studio. Originally, his plan was to go to the air force. In 2021, Quez Dawg released “Go Big Dawg”, a song that is still gaining a huge buzz on the internet and social media.
Quez Dawg has a melodic sound that blends perfectly with his heavy hitting lyrics. I think this will be exciting to see going into 2022, Quez Dawg appears to have an extremely bright future. Follow Quez on Instagram at @str.quezdawg.
