Adult Swim has just surprised Rick and Morty fans with the show’s official season 4 premiere date announcement and trailer. After the extended break from season 3, the Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland-created animated television series promises an action-packed season.
The new trailer reveals that the upcoming season will feature multiple returning characters, including Mr. Meeseeks, Revolio Clockberg Jr. (aka “Gearhead”) and Mr. Poopybutthole.
Despite a lengthy two-year gap between seasons, season 4 promises that things are “pretty much the same” between sociopathic scientist Rick and his impressionable young sidekick Morty, as they embark on even more madcap adventures together.
Rick and Morty Season 4 will premiere its first five episodes on Sunday, November 10 at 11:30 p.m. Eastern on Adult Swim.
