For the people who have been living under a rock for the past five months, meet Baby C. It’s a great chance that you’ve already heard this young man’s voice on either Tik Tok or Instagram. His social media post for his viral hit “Did Me Wrong” has over 1 million views and his song alone has nearly 1.5 million streams. So who is this kid making all this noise? And, where does he come from?
Baby C is already a legend in his hometown of Roxboro, North Carolina; a city notorious for its poverty. Last year, Roxboro was named the fourth poorest city in North Carolina. According to Baby C, “I’m from a town where it’s not much at all, you have to get it how you live.” And that’s exactly what Baby C has managed to do. His single “Did Me Wrong” has become an anthem for young people across the country. Last week Baby C released another single with Texas artist Boogotti Kasino titled “Life I Chose”.
