Josh paints a picture of his life through the prism of an eroding relationship with a woman, feeling his emotions and feelings through the way enchanting guitar flows. He states, “This song was inspired by a breakup. My friend and amazing songwriter Doug Whatley and I came together to tell this story.”

Josh is fortunate to be mentored by one of the great ATL producers WLPWR, who also happens to be a refined photographer and videographer. “I actually met WLPWR through Big K.R.I.T back in 2017. Two years went by, and he built this recording facility. I started booking there as a client. One thing led to another, I did his artist development program and later signed to his label, BNDWTH Atlanta,” Josh explains.
Produced and directed by WLPWR (Wiz Khalifa, Dizzy Wright, Eminem, Yelawolf), the video came from a real place. WLPWR asked Josh, “What do you do when dealing with pain?” Josh instantly remembered, as a kid he’d hop on my bike and ride out… hence the creative vision behind the video came into fruition.
Josh adds, “I get goosebumps every time I watch, it’s so nostalgic for me. Takes me back to my childhood. Riding was a relief.”
Josh has established himself as one of the finest young performers in the genre, capable of bringing his deepest feelings to life through his evocative songwriting. Josh released a song every week in 2020! He remained consistent with the campaign, dropping 52 songs that caught on quickly, and soon, he had built up a vast catalog of songs reflecting his versatility and innovation. Josh is gearing up to release new music via WLPWR’s new label BNDWTH, which showcases his pen and smooth vocals.
