Santana’s European summer plans connect an anniversary show in London with arena and festival stops, while a new Natalia Lafourcade collaboration carries a similar message of togetherness.

Santana will launch the Planet of Free Will Global Tour 2027 at London’s O2 on June 30. The 13 announced European dates run through July 31 in Helsinki, with general ticket sales already underway following the October 30 opening. Paris is the major exception: its July 7 Accor Arena concert goes on general sale November 20.

The London appearance has a significance beyond opening night. AEG International identifies it as Santana’s only U.K. show of 2027 and part of The O2’s 20th-birthday celebrations. The wider anniversary programme also includes artists such as David Guetta, Brad Paisley, Kings of Leon, Don Omar and Jorja Smith, placing Santana within a summer spanning several generations and styles.

After London, the announced itinerary moves through Paris and Switzerland before continuing into Germany and Italy. Later stops include Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Norway ahead of Finland. The mix of arenas and festivals gives the run several different settings, rather than presenting the entire tour as one uniform indoor production.

The tour arrives alongside “Hermano,” Santana’s new collaboration with Natalia Lafourcade. In an October 30 announcement, his official site describes a song built around empathy and reconciliation, combining son jarocho roots with electric guitar. Lafourcade and Edgar Barrera wrote the track, with Barrera also producing; the official video offers a current introduction to that collaboration.

Italy receives two consecutive performances. Promoter D’Alessandro e Galli lists Pordenone’s Parco San Valentino on July 17 and Lucca Summer Festival’s historic-walls setting on July 18, both scheduled for 9 p.m. Italian ticket sales began October 23, earlier than the wider tour’s general-sale date, making those local listings particularly useful for anyone planning either show.

The promoter describes a repertoire drawing on the span from Abraxas to Supernatural, rather than a concert devoted to one recent release. That breadth suits an artist whose music brings together rock, blues, jazz and Afro-Latin rhythms. It also leaves room for the improvisational character emphasized in the Italian announcement, without promising a specific nightly set list before the performances take place.

Carlos Santana’s stated purpose for the tour is to encourage “unity over division, harmony over conflict, and love over fear.” The same broad concerns run through the presentation of “Hermano,” where he and Lafourcade emphasize shared humanity. The single follows collaborations with Becky G, Carín León and Grupo Frontera, reflecting an ongoing partnership with Barrera alongside the live schedule.

For the opening concert, The O2’s current event page lists tickets on sale and doors at 6:30 p.m. on June 30. It directs buyers to official ticketing partner AXS and says tickets purchased through those channels are displayed through The O2 app. With Paris following a later sale timetable, checking the relevant venue remains more useful than assuming every date has identical booking arrangements.
