Drake turned Don Toliver’s Toronto tour stop into a hometown moment, making a surprise appearance to perform three songs from Iceman live for the first time.
Don Toliver brought out Drake during the Toronto stop of his tour at Scotiabank Arena on Monday, August 31, giving the crowd the first live performances of several Iceman cuts. According to Complex, Drake opened his surprise mini-set with “Shabang,” followed by “Burning Bridges” and “Janice STFU.”
The appearance marked a notable first for Drake after the release of Iceman. Addressing the arena, the Toronto rapper confirmed the significance of the set, telling the crowd, “It’s my first time performing the album since it dropped.”
Toliver used the moment to publicly salute Drake’s influence. “I appreciate you for inspiring us all. You know damn well this shit wouldn’t be this shit if you ain’t do this shit… You inspire me, you inspire all of us,” he told Drake after the performance.

Drake returned the praise, thanking Toliver for what he has brought to the year in music. “I love this thing that we do so much. In front of the city, I just want to thank you for keeping this shit alive. You had an incredible year,” Drake said.
