50 Cent Working On TV Series About Sex Money Murder Gang

50 continues to make his mark on Hollywood.

50 Cent is producing a TV crime Series inspired by New York City’s infamous Sex Money Murder gang and the leader of the group Peter “Pistol Pete” Rollack.

Taking to Instagram to announce the news he wrote, “Oscar award winning producer @nicolerocklin partners with ya Boy 50 to create the hit Tv show Sex Money Murder ( The Pistol Pete story),” he captioned his post. “I get the 💰 bag.”

Sex Money Murder is a Blood sect that originated in the Sound view section of the Bronx around the late 1980s. Headed by Pistol Pete (no relation to Fat Joe’s Terror Squad affiliate), the organization had a short but notoriously brutal run on the streets of NYC, peddling narcotics and violently dealing with rivals. In late 2000, Pete was charged with seven murders and sentenced to life without parole in federal prison.

Fifty continues to add to his legacy as a Hollywood television producer. Following his hit series Power, he is also developing a television show based on the rise and fall of Atlanta-based crime organization Black Mafia Family.
