Z-Wayne Hits High Marks On ‘Please Excuse My Absence’

Z-Wayne

Washington D.C. emcee Z-Wayne released ‘Please Excuse My Absence’ (PEMA), which not only was well received by critics and fans alike due to more mature sound. Z also tapped into a more creative way to curate memorable music that embeds stories of pain and triumph in the minds of listeners worldwide.

Composed of ten tracks, ‘PEMA’ is the D.C. native most compelling and transparent work from him to date. His sound is akin to a unique mix of Rod Wave and Moneybagg Yo, add in that Z flair and you got a potential breakout star in 2022. Features on the project are Young Moe and NSC Kai.

Notable platforms which shared the project include Revolt TV, HipHopDX, AllHipHop, and Kazi Magazine. However, Z-Wayne is not settling and plans to drop music all 2022.

It serves as a reintroduction to Z from his younger days making his breakout hit “Ibaka” from music due to new fatherhood and adjusting to a world that’s dealt with a global health pandemic. With more music set to drop after this, ‘PEMA’ sets to begin the rise of Z-Wayne as a relatable rapper full of talent. ‘PEMA’ is available on all platforms.

Along with ‘PEMA’ comes a video for one of the lead singles of the mixtape titled “Feel Alive.”
