YSGDagoat and Tygr Swipy Turn Brotherhood Into a Movement With the Formation of Altawam

What began as a natural creative connection between two artists has now evolved into something far greater. YSGDagoat and Tygr Swipy, whose journey started with their July 2023 collaboration “Twin,” have officially solidified their partnership by forming the group Altawam, marking a powerful new chapter defined by unity, growth, and shared purpose.

From the very beginning, their chemistry was undeniable. Though not initially operating as a group, both artists consistently demonstrated a rare synergy, balancing collaborative records with their individual artistic development. YSGDagoat’s solo EP “Since 17,” released on January 17, 2024, showcased his depth and versatility across nine tracks, including standout collaborations with Tygr Swipy such as “Puerto Rico” and “Pull Up.” The project positioned him as a focused and evolving artist with a strong sense of direction.

Shortly after, Tygr Swipy delivered his own statement with the release of “Time Is Up” on May 31, 2024, further establishing his identity and creative voice. Despite pursuing solo milestones, both artists remained closely connected, continuing to collaborate and build momentum together while expanding their reach through consistent releases and creative output.

In 2025, their bond deepened beyond music in a way that added even more meaning to their journey. YSGDagoat welcomed a baby boy named Kairo, with Tygr Swipy stepping into the role of godfather. In a remarkable parallel, Tygr Swipy also discovered he would be welcoming a son the same year, named Sekari, with YSGDagoat becoming his child’s godfather. This shared life experience elevated their connection, transforming their partnership into something rooted in family, loyalty, and long-term vision.’

Determined to elevate their craft even further, both artists made a strategic and forward-thinking decision later that year. Recognizing the importance of creative independence, they chose to invest in their skills by enrolling at Full Sail University. YSGDagoat began pursuing music engineering, while Tygr Swipy focused on filmmaking, allowing them to take greater control over their sound and visual storytelling. Encouraged by their close collaborator and producer Jdkey, this move reflects their commitment to growth, discipline, and artistic ownership.

Even while balancing their studies, their work ethic never slowed. They continued releasing music videos, collaborating on new material, and maintaining a steady presence with both solo and joint projects. This relentless consistency speaks to their dedication and passion for their craft.

The momentum carried strongly into 2026 with two deeply personal releases. On February 17, 2026, YSGDagoat unveiled “Kairo,” a project inspired by his son, delivering a body of work filled with purpose and emotional depth. Just one week later, on February 24, 2026, Tygr Swipy released “Sekari,” also named after his son, reinforcing the personal connection that continues to shape their music and message.

Now, after years of building together, the formation of Altawam represents the natural evolution of their journey. The name itself symbolizes unity and brotherhood, reflecting both their personal bond and their artistic alignment. Adding to this exciting new chapter, Vibedealerz, who have been instrumental in their creative process, have officially joined them, strengthening the foundation of the collective.

With a story built on consistency, loyalty, and growth, YSGDagoat and Tygr Swipy are not just creating music, they are building a legacy. Through Altawam, they are channeling years of collaboration, life-changing experiences, and shared ambition into a unified vision that continues to push boundaries and inspire.

As they step into this new era together, one thing is clear: Altawam is more than a group, it is a movement shaped by brotherhood, purpose, and the relentless pursuit of greatness.
