Young Thug has been teasing his forthcoming album release for the past few months, but if you’re well-versed with Thug you know these teases mean little to nothing as the project soon becomes riddled with delays.
In an interview last month with No Jumper, Thug promised his album would arrive in the next month and with his latest announcement it’s clear that he plans to stay true to that.
Originally titled GOLDMOUFDOG, Thug has opted for a carefree title in So Much Fun. Taking to Instagram, he revealed the album’s cover – a gathering of mini Thug’s arranged to form the face of the Atlanta rapper – as well as its release date.
The album is reportedly being executive produced by J. Cole, who also appears on the single “The London,” which also features Travis Scott. In May, Thug previewed a collaboration with Nipsey Hussle, which could appear on the project.
The album marks Thug’s first project since 2017’s Beautiful Thugger Girls and his Super Slimey collaborative project with Future.
Following the album’s release, he will embark on a joint tour with Machine Gun Kelly, starting Sept. 30 in Toronto with special guests Polo G, YBN Nahmir, Killy, and Strick.
In addition to his own project, he is working on a sequel to Super Slimey with Future, Lil Baby, and Gunna.
