Young Taboo debuts a new track, “Lil Sum,” — a song full of bass and just straight vibes. The song is sure to make anyone dance and groove. Young Taboo is a Compton rapper best known for his other two singles, “2 Clean,” featuring TLz, and “Kick It,” starring DW Flame, which illuminates his versatile flow and melodic harmonies as an artist, is making headlines with his latest work “Lil Sum.”
Young Taboo got his start in music as a way to cope and deal with the trauma of losing his father, music helped him “express the pain.”
“It allows me to express thoughts and feelings I would have normally kept to myself,” he said. “What inspires me is the power that music has.”
Early in his music career, Young Taboo has stayed true to himself and the message he puts out in his music. He’s been trying to “tell the world [his] story, show people who [he is] through [his] music and leave [his] mark on the music industry.”
Young Taboo’s latest work, “Lil Sum,” is a quick banger that is sure to catch anyone’s attention. The song features a powerful bass, a rich sound, and at times is both strident and distinct. Lil Taboo wants his girl to “shake a lil sum,” making the song a fun, sensual party or driving song.
