On August 31, 1993, Cristian Mattia-Uribe, best known by his stage name Contagiou$, was born in Romania. He is thought to be among the best vocalists now playing for younger audiences. Contagiou$ has always had a love for music, but he had to overcome numerous challenges to achieve his goals. God and the universe had always been kind to him, unlike many of us who find it difficult to adjust to living apart from our families. Being “Strong” is without a doubt the most crucial component of all the achievements Contagiou$ has done. Because he was strong and self-assured, he developed into the person he is today. He is unique since he was raised in foster care and group homes as a young child, was adopted at the age of 5 and was born in an orphanage in Romania. All of these factors contributed to Contagiou$’s development into a resilient, self-reliant individual, which enabled him to excel in all he undertook.
Contagiou$ began creating music when he was five years old. However, he didn’t start taking it seriously until he was thirteen years old when he finished his first project, “DREAM BIG,” which was created by “Rolo,” one of his best teachers. Contagiou$ got inspiration from some of his favorite personalities like many other artists to do. The two mentors he had, Coach Ed Harris and John Condra, had the most impact on his life. He continues to be inspired by them to pursue his goals, have trust in his vision, and reach his full potential since they have always stood up for him and supported him.
Four years ago, Contagiou$ left the group home and relocated to Los Angeles, and he hasn’t looked back since. Since then, he has had the good fortune to have a variety of opportunities, including background work for movies, music videos, television shows, and commercials as well as collaboration with a well-known director. Contagiou$ would want to have his music marketed to increase his visibility and perhaps encourage individuals who have had difficulties to never give up on life. As a result of his professional success, he has frequently been chosen to collaborate with and support well-known personalities.
Contagiou$ aspires to become the best singer he can be by motivating listeners with his music and his stories of inspiration. He wants to continue inspiring his followers while he tries to make the world a better place.
