Jorja Smith has got a late summer anthem on her hands with “Be Honest,” a new collaboration with Burna Boy.
From Rye Lane Market and Peckham Liberal Club to Rotheride Tunnel, the visual was shot across London and stars her best friends Erin and Sandra. “You see my thick thighs, lost when you look into my brown eyes,” Jorja sings. “See, my little waist can make you switch sides, you never know the devil in the disguise.”
Burna and Jorja previously collaborated on “Gum Body”, a song off of Burna Boy’s recent album African Giant. The song is also produced by Cadenza, who worked with Jorja on “Where Did I Go?”
Check out “Be Honest” below. The track marks Smith’s first material since the release of her 2018 debut album Lost & Found. Earlier this year, Smith was on a joint North American tour with Kali Uchis.
