Entertainer & musical artist Pollo is from Carson, California and shows his fans the true meaning of music. With his music he shows others it’s not just about being “cool” but it’s about being real. Pollo is a multi-talented & versatile artist who can grab the attention of anyone through the amount of creativity in his music. Starting his music over 3 years ago, Pollo started it just as a good emotional outlet to release his feelings.
Graduating from Grand Canyon University, Pollo was studying government and an emphasis on legal studies. After this he was able to achieve co-signs from artists like DJ Quik, Mac 10, & Compton AV. Pollo even amassed over 145,000 streams on all music platforms, with his top song “Nasty” on YouTube with over 30,000 views. With all of this great success, he never had it easy, here came many challenges setting roadblocks in his journey.
One of these challenges he faced was generating support in the art that he put out. His self doubt was eating him alive and he had to figure out his purpose to overcome it, and with him having to mourn the loss of his father, it was a major difficulty for him. Taking his music to the next level didn’t seem possible but that’s exactly what he did.
Pollo is hoping to make his music into not only a good profit but a way to pave his future for endeavors such as his upcoming brand and record label. Pollo really sees music as a way to be your true self and let everything out, and believes those who just lie or act a way to be popular in music, aren’t true to their fans. His main goal with music is to let out the reality of his and others lives. Whether music, comedy, or fashion, Pollo is always being himself and staying creative.
