Recently, North Carolina has taken the rap game by storm. From J Cole and Da Baby to recently Baby C and Morray; it’s clear that NC artists have something to say! One of these rising artists is Tha Yungest Bristow. Born Randal Bristow in Lumberton NC, Tha Yungest Bristow was the youngest of seven siblings. At an early age, Bristow was determined to show the world what he can do. At the tender age of 16 he fell in love with music.
Tragically in 2005 his beloved father passed away, this elevated his mind set and made him go harder. According to Bristow, ” I knew I had to follow my dreams to make my father proud.” Bristow managed to uphold this promise.
At the age of 26, Tha Yungest Bristow had already won multiple music competitions from Greensboro NC to Atlanta Ga. his success allowed him the chance to open up for alot of major artist such as Plies, Young Dolph, K Camp, Hopsin and he also appeared in Dj Esudd (2chains dj) Mixtape Service Pack.
In 2021 he dropped his single “Talk To Me”, this song introduced Bristow to a new audience. I actually had a chance to see Bristow perform this record along side Hip Hop Since 1987, during the 2021 Indie Bosses Tour (ATL). Believe me, this young man is talented! Rite now Bristow is pushing his current single “Keep Quiet”, this record showcases Bristow’s lyrical ability in a fashionable way.
