Spenser: My name Is Spenser Smith, I represent Valley Stream, NY

Host: Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?

Spenser: My latest release Is my latest single FATAL FURY. What Inspired this release was tge production the tailored the canvas from utilizing my childhood Influence of one of my favorite fighting games Capcom Vs. Snk 2. The funny thing Is I didn’t plan on releasing this record until later on but after hearing Drake’s 8am In Charlotte while working on my album It galvanized me to produce a boom bap bar heavy record for my fans before they received my next album.

Spenser: I find what make’s my art unique as well as myself Is I stay true to my love of lyricism as well as soulful Introspective / boom bap production. Lyrically I always try and provide a story or an experience for the listener to provide a sense of comfort knowing they’ll be able to learn or relate to any of my records.

Host: What shaped your music?

Spenser: What shaped my music was finding my love for lyricism taking the time to hone my craft of storytelling. I took time to study my Idols and understand the difference from having the best bars but also being able to convey a story to the listener from start to finish.

Host: When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

Spenser: I realized I was going to take music professionally In my senior year of high school. During that time of my life It was a crucial point for me deciding on what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. My peers we’re always speaking amongst themselves where they we’re going to school after graduation. I knew deep down I wanted to pursue my dream of becoming a Rap Artist originally. I never expected to become an audio engineer/ music producer working professionally In the music Industry. I learned In life

Spenser: In my free time I mainly listen to 90’s east coast hip hop, Some 2000’s hip hop, Of course I always stay true to my love of soul music of appreciating 90’s R&b and some modern r&b of today

Host: What inspires you to write music?

Spenser: What Inspires me to craft music Is being able to create something from the perspective of anyone telling a story being able to play the role of the maestro, artist, composer, engineer while still maintaining substance

Host: What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?

Spenser: When I’m not working on music I enjoy reading books such as 48 Laws Of Power, Sun Tzu Art Of War, The Law Of Mastery. I also enjoy watching TV or super hero movies / shows & anime to gain Inspiration or ease my mind to decompress. I also enjoy focusing on building my next business venture while studying the stock market.

Spenser: I wish I was told to pursue my dreams to the fullest and remain pure while pursuing this journey towards prosperity. If your going to pursue music understand every faucet of the Industry from songwriting to music production as well as understanding the business side of the Industry.

Spenser: I have an album releasing early 2024 Implementing themes of R&b samples, East Coast Hip Hop, Mafioso Hip Hop, And Introspective Conscious Hip Hop. With my next album I channeled all of of my energy / emotions from all of the despair I endured through my trial’s and tribulations I encountered In 2020 through romantic quarrel’s, emotional submission, as well as telling my story for all those who have suffered In silence
