Shortly after the rumored album from Tyler coming this June.
It’s been a minute since Tyler, The Creator released a studio album, and it looks as if his Flower Boy follow up could be releasing as early as this June, the Odd Future rapper has dropped what seems like a preview of new material.
On Wednesday morning (May 1), Tyler uploaded what appears to be a preview of a new song on YouTube, but he gave no details about it.
The clip doesn’t have much of a visual, save for Tyler’s heads moving. In the last 10 seconds, “He’s comin’!” plays on the track, followed by, “Word around town, they gon’ feel this one,” before the beat fades out leaving fans with one mumbled line from the rapper about running around town..
The teaser comes after a fan spotted Tyler’s name in newly-released financial documents from Sony, The Creator album as being due out by June 30. No title was provided for the project, and instead listed it as T.B.D.
July would mark two years since the release of 2017’s Flower Boy. Since 2009, the rapper has shared projects every two years. Watch the clip below.
