Trumain is an artist who represents North Hollywood, California, also known as NoHo, with pride. Music has been in his life for as long as he can remember. As a kid, he was the one always singing along to songs in the car, and that love eventually grew into something bigger. He began rapping in 2001, started recording in 2005, and by 2007 he was performing live and bringing his energy to the stage.
His journey started with a computer that a friend gave him, which opened the door to experimenting with music on his own. Soon after, he linked up with his homie Smoke, who had a home studio. That connection sparked endless recording sessions and gave him the space to really grow into his craft. In 2016, Trumain joined forces with J Stalin and began releasing music under Livewire Records. Since then, he has built a strong catalog of projects, each with its own unique vibe and style, showing how versatile he can be.
Trumain’s artistry is shaped by the influences of legends like Michael Jackson, 2Pac, Kendrick Lamar, and Chris Brown. Those inspirations can be felt in the emotion, storytelling, and rhythm that run through his songs. One of the most memorable moments of his career was booking Nipsey Hussle and witnessing him bring out YG, an experience that reminded Trumain of the power of music to create unforgettable moments.
Right now, Trumain has three projects in the works, including the deluxe version of his latest album The Truest to Do It. He is also always ready to collaborate and drop new features, keeping his momentum alive and his artistry fresh.
What’s next for Trumain?
Fans can look forward to the deluxe release of The Truest to Do It and plenty more music on the horizon. With his work ethic and passion, Trumain is set on showing the world exactly why he’s the truest to do it.
