It is, in fact, a different version of the song when the single was originally recorded. However, due to the fact that the version with Travis Scott was leaked last month, Kylie Jenner decided to use it for her cosmetics ad.
ORIGINAL STORY: After surfacing last month, a Travis Scott remix of Childish Gambino’s “Feels Like Summer” has finally been revealed. In a new advertisement by Kylie Jenner for her upcoming cosmetics products, Travis Scott can be heard singing out the track’s chorus over a similar instrumental.
The original track arrived last year as part of Gambino’s Summer Pack double-single, which arrived alongside another Summer bopper entitled “Summertime Magic.” Both songs were equally showcased in the artist’s Hiro Murai-directed short film, Guava Island, which starred Rihanna.
