Today we’d Like to introduce You to John Michael Veiga who Goes by his Stage Name JPOPD1

So, before we jump into specific questions about your music, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.

I was born in Miami, Florida. My grandmother was actually an amazing musician in the 90s. My parents met in the nightlife scene dancing, so I was destined to have music in my life per se. When I discovered my ability to express myself thoroughly in my music and writing, I was around the age of 10. My sister and brother are my ultimate inspirations along with my mother and stepfather.

My whole life, I’ve been writing music. It wasn’t until I got to the young age of 14, that I was able to flourish into not only a thriving musician but a structured brand. Miami is where I was able to take myself seriously. I was surrounded by resources and moguls in the music industry that I couldn’t find in my hometown.I had a fresh view of what Miami had to offer even though I was raised here my whole life, I learned to live between the scenes. While everyone was out partying and enjoying the nightlife, I was thinking of ways to monetize my lifestyle. I have over 6 albums and currently working on my 7th or 8th project, as for the title, I’ll let life give me a sign.(Release date TBA)

I’m excited about my new single “Satisfaction” featuring swipxrr and my protege Zute. All music is available on all platforms. I needed a vessel to bring like-minded people together. After collaborating with many local artists, I created my own. I use my company (Leap Over Demons Publishing ) to work as the adhesive for South Florida and international creatives. I’ve lost myself here and found myself here. Every day I take on the task of bettering myself and those around me.

Nothing is ever easy. The more you progress, it only gets harder. My past trials and tribulations have prepared me for what is to come. Any artist who truly believes in themselves can understand the amount of discipline it takes to become as successful as they know they can be. I’ve worked so hard for the resources I’ve accumulated, while still weaving Thru quietly In a city full of hidden intentions, I find myself being selfless to those who are selfish. (It tends to backfire.)

But for the most part, great things are coming for JPOPD1 which as stated earlier releases the years’ women’s appreciation anthem titled “Satisfaction”
