It is always possible for you to change your path in life and focus on what you love. Before Tyler entered the music industry, he was a professional soccer player. Out of high school, he was number 2 in the state for goalkeeping. Tyler made notable accomplishments in this field, including All-District, All-Tournament, and All-West Tennessee awards. He averaged a 94% save average over the season.
Tyler discovered his love for music after his sports career ended. He wrote his first song, “Forget About Me,” when he was going through a tough time in his life. To his surprise, the song received over 32 thousand views, which motivated him to write more songs. Since then, he continued to produce hit after hit and even collaborate with other industry artists. Some of his songs include; “I Got The Juice”, “Heart Is Full”, “Sleep”, and many more. He has received compliments on his music having a Joji vibe, which is a clear indication of his talent. Additionally, he has become an influential person in the industry through his Instagram channel.
Despite being a talented artist, Tyler faced several challenges in his music career. When he decided to join the music industry, he received no support. Instead, people made fun of him and viewed him as a joke. Also, Tyler says he did not have any support from anyone in college. When one of his hit songs went viral, he began receiving messages from aspiring musicians experiencing the same lack of support. It made Tyler realize there are many more good people out there than the ones he grew up with. However, he overcame these obstacles by believing in himself and sticking with what he loved, even when people hated what he did.
Tyler shares his story to act as an inspiration to other people. He hails from a small town of about 2000, and no one would have thought that a renowned musician would come from such a small town. Even Tyler didn’t think people would hear about him, not to mention his music. He wants to encourage everyone that there is a chance they can make it if they stick with what they love. Additionally, he wants people to know that constantly working hard and making connections will help them achieve their dreams.
In the coming years, Tyler envisions making more music collaborations with prominent artists in the industry. His ambition is to scale and expand his brand internationally with a global fan base. He sees himself traveling worldwide, allowing him to perform and connect with his audience. His dream has always been to see himself develop into a global superstar and make music for a living. Tyler’s ultimate goal is to become an icon in the music industry and prove everyone back home wrong for doubting him.
