Taylor Swift Invites Some Purrfect Friends to Her New Orleans Show
Among the crowd of about 60,000 people at Taylor Swift’s concert in New Orleans Saturday night (Sept. 22) were Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Ilsey Juber and a couple famous felines.
The pop star, who’s on the final leg of her U.S. trek before bringing the Reputation Stadium Tour overseas, hung out with the actresses and singer backstage — in the company of her beloved cats, Meredith and Olivia.
“Taking in every second of this tour- thank you New Orleans for being so incredible last night,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “My first time playing the Superdome and couldn’t be happier that I got to play it with Camila and @charlixcx – plus some purrfect friends came to see the show.”
She shared some photos from the night, as well as a clip of friend and opening act Camila Cabello singing along to all the words of “Speak Now.”
Meanwhile, Rose penned a heartfelt note in honor of Swift.
“What can I even say about everything you have achieved so far @taylorswift,” she captioned a photo of the two together. “What an incredible journey you are on. I am blessed to have you in my life. Your dedication, hard work and perseverance is unparalleled. Mixed with your self awareness, generosity and what you stand for. You continue to light up the people around you and shine brighter than 60,000 people in New Orleans with glow sticks. I love you and I’m so proud.”
“Olivia .. you did really well too,” she added.
Dobrev took to Instagram as well, pointing out that Swift is “a real life #SuperWoman.”
