Stream Banks New Song ‘Gimme’
The 30-year-old singer-songwriter Banks is back with her new single “Gimme,” which debuted on Today (April 30). take a listen below.
The song is about getting what you want. It’s about knowing what you deserve, saying it out loud, and demanding it with no apologies. I’m ready to release this into the world and begin a new chapter,” she says of the track.
The track was co-written with Buddy Ross (Frank Ocean) and co-produced by Hudson Mowkawke (Kanye West) and BJ Burton , and serves as the first taste of new music from Banks since 2017.
In April 2017, Banks shared the single “Crowded Places,” which was memorably featured in the final season of the HBO series Girls. she also released a single titled “Underdog.” and team up with 6lack for the song “In Between.” later that year.
Last year In December, she revealed in an interview with Marie Claire Italia that she had recorded nearly 45 tracks and would be releasing an album in 2019.
