Snoop Dogg on Tekashi 6ix9ine: 'Let That Rat Rot'

The landscape of hip-hop has changed over the years, but the OG Snoop Dogg is making sure one thing stays the same.

This week, it was announced that 6ix9ine has hired high profile defense attorney Alex Spiro to help him fight his case. When this news hit social media, it didn’t take long for Uncle Snoop to share his thoughts.

Since documents showed that Tekashi was cooperating with investigators in the case, many entertainers have been quick to slam the Brooklyn rapper. Boosie criticized Tekashi when the news broke earlier this year, writing, “WHEN YOU FIRST WENT TO JAIL I WAS LIKE FREE DUDE CAUSE I DONT LIKE TO SEE NO ONE N DAT CAGE LIKE DAT i BUT ONE THING I DONT CONDONE OR SUPPORT IS RATS.”

Snoop & Boosie are not the only ones who is not a Tekashi fan. YG has been vocal about his disdain for the “FEFE” hitmaker. His song “Stop Snitchin” off his album Stay Dangerous was reportedly inspired by 69. He debuted the track at Coachella while performing in front of photos of 6ix9ine.

Tekashi has been behind bars since November, but could walk free after fulfilling his obligations as part of his agreement with authorities. He recently hired JAY-Z and 21 Savage’s lawyer Alex Spiro to represent him in the case.
