Ready to rain releases all year long, Shizzo shines bright with his debut drop, “Blickity“! In fact, the trendy track, presented by Divine Chosen Ent., is completely unique and current in comparison to everything else Shizzo has ever recorded. But don’t get it twisted -that was the purpose. Shizzo says the song was inspired by his realization that his music wasn’t connecting with younger audiences. At least not as well as he had hoped. As a result, he hopes to influence people of all ages with this song.

Teaming up on this track, Shizzo is excited to work with CEO William Brownlee. He is grateful to be part of a strong team that prioritizes the needs of the artist. When it comes to this raved record, Shizzo wanted to switch it up for his fans. Normally, you’ll hear him rap bar after bar over traditional hip-hop production, but this is STURDY.
Shizzo believes the “Sturdy” movement is important. It allows people to freely express themselves through dance, which was previously frowned upon in his hometown. In an era where TikTok dance challenges reign supreme, “Blickity” is unquestionably a banger that people will enjoy dancing to and vibing to. Shizzo’s vocals on the hook and the lyrics complement each other perfectly, and the Ahkashi-snap production pays homage to the late PNB Rock.
