On Wednesday, Seth Rogen took to Twitter to drop a new red band trailer for Good Boys, an upcoming raunchy coming-of-age comedy. Rogen’s production banner Point Grey is producing the film.
Good Boys tells the story of Max (Jacob Tremblay), a sixth-grader who gets invited to his first ‘kissing party.’ Max then enlists the help of his friends Thor (Brady Noon) and Lucas (Keith L. Williams) to spy on his neighbors with a drone so they can learn how to kiss. The drone then gets stolen and the boys go on an epic journey across the city to reclaim it and make it back in time for the big party.
The latest trailer starts out with Rogen sitting the film’s three stars down. He tells them that, because it’s a red band trailer, they can’t watch it. Dumbfounded, the boys tell Rogen they’ve seen all his so-called adult comedies. After some great back and forth with the boys, Rogen resolves to just roll the trailer without helping them see it.
Check out it for yourself, Good Boys first premiered at SXSW and hits theaters on August 16th, 2019.
