Joshua is prolific in his output, releasing a new song every two weeks as he builds a discography that will eventually culminate in a full-length album. But his goals extend far beyond mere ambition in the music industry. “I plan on achieving more people start to follow Jesus and turn their lives around for the better. I plan on helping people deepen their relationship with God and ultimately make it to heaven,” he shares, revealing the heart behind his artistry.
The inspiration for his upcoming release comes from a place of concern for the state of the world. “I see so much evil in the world. The only way to combat that is by confronting evil with good and standing firm on the word of God. Ultimately, giving your life to Christ and allowing Him to help you with whatever struggles you are battling,” he explains. This song will be distinct from his previous work, both in its musical style and through the feature of fellow Christian rapper HolyKatchy.
As Joshua navigates his growing platform, he remains grounded in his faith and committed to his mission. His advice to aspiring artists is to seek divine guidance. “Pray and talk with God about it. Ask Him for advice and guidance to figure out your own lane. If you don’t know God or believe in God, then just hit me up, I actually do Bible studies as well so I could help you out with that.”
With his consistent output of uplifting music and his dedication to ministry, OGK Joshua is a name to watch in the Christian hip-hop scene. As he continues to create and connect with listeners, he is undoubtedly making a positive impact and pointing others towards the hope found in Jesus.
