Reek Shot It Taking Over The Hip Hop Game

If you love taking pictures, you probably can’t imagine life without your trusty camera by your side. Sean Williams also known as Reek Shot it, found his true passion in photography when he was just 8 years old and got his first DSLR camera In his hometown. After getting his first taste of the photography world, he couldn’t stop learning and practicing new skills, and now he has been shooting professionally for over two years.

How he learn photography

Reek never went to school for photography, but that didn’t stop him from pursuing his passion. He taught himself everything he knows through trial and error. At first it was difficult, but he persevered and is now grateful for the journey he’s taken. He’s not only learned new things, but he’s also experienced new things along the way. I think one of my favorite parts about photography is getting to explore different people, places and cultures, he said. It’s amazing how one thing can give you so many opportunities.

How his Hobby converted into passion

Reek didn’t go to school to become a photographer, but that didn’t stop him from turning his hobby into a passion. He taught himself everything he knows through trial and error. At first it was difficult, but he stuck with it and eventually became the amazing photographer he is today. Reek is grateful for the journey he’s had, as it has not only allowed him to learn new things but also experience new things.

When he began taking photos, he never thought of them as anything more than something he did for fun; however, one day when he took a photo of some friends, they were so excited by how well the picture turned out that, After seeing the confidence of peoples  ’ reaction, he decided to take up photography as a profession. His life changed after this decision- within the next few years he traveled to many states and toured with a few known celebrities. He loves to network and meet new people of all kinds of passions and talent.

His Hard time

It was a difficult period for Reek at the beginning. In the beginning of his photography career many known models and celebrities didn’t want to shoot with Reek just because he was new in the game and also didn’t have the following amount on instagram. This did not stop him. It only encouraged him to go grind harder. The whole process resulted in who he is today. The bright side to all of this is that it has given me so much experience in photography and now I am on my way to becoming the most mentioned, most noticeable, and most looked up photographer. I have learned how to take care of myself and live with honor. My advice to anyone wanting to start a career in photography is find someone you admire and create your own style based off their work! And don’t be afraid to get out your comfort zone. Don’t be afraid of NO’s. Eventually there will be a “yes”, “He said”.

A good business man along with best skills

After honing his skills and building up a strong portfolio, he decided to take the leap and start his own photography business. Reek specializes in conceptual, celebrity, outdoor, studio portrait, graphic design, and editorial photography, and has shot for some of the biggest names in the industry. He loves what he does and feels lucky that he gets to make a living doing something that he’s so passionate about.  His work is clean and high-quality with an aesthetic that is all his own. He finds inspiration from both the location and subject matter, which results in interesting photographs with an artful twist.  These qualities make him a successful photographer and a businessman, always willing to go the extra mile for his clients. In the end, it’s not just about taking pictures – it’s making memories!
