Raybudda, known online as Ray_Budda32, is a rapper from Cincinnati, Ohio, who has been building his path in music since 2019. Coming from a musical family, it was almost destined for him to pursue music. “My inspiration came from my brothers,” he says. “As kids, we would rap against each other and switch our voices to sound like famous artists like Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, or Gucci Mane. My father also had a studio and made music when I was younger, so I grew up surrounded by it all.”
Though he primarily focuses on rap, Raybudda dabbles in R&B, but he jokes that singing is not really his thing. His musical journey started with instruments too; he played the flute and piano and was working on the trumpet before he decided to focus fully on his lyrics.
Raybudda started taking his music seriously in 2020 with his first EP, Bars of a Yung Gangsta, which is available on all streaming platforms. He initially went by the name AlmightyRay but took a four-year break after struggling to gain support. “I felt like I was wasting my time,” he admits. “It was my brothers who motivated me to get back into rap this year.” His debut EP reflects a pivotal time in his life, released after he was let out of jail and banned from his city. The project explores his life before and after that experience, giving listeners an unfiltered look into his story.
One of Raybudda’s most memorable moments so far was his first official performance with Coast2Coast, marking an important milestone in his journey.
Currently, Raybudda is preparing to release his Summer In Indy EP on August 30, which captures the summers he spent in Indianapolis while banned from his city. He is also working on the Luv is Overrated EP and his upcoming album The Volume 1. He will showcase his new music with a live performance in Indianapolis on August 3, giving fans a chance to experience his energy and style in person.

Beyond his upcoming releases, he aims to expand his sound, explore more R&B influences, and continue sharing stories from his life that resonate with his audience.
