Released by EMG in partnership with REVOLT’s 440 Artists distribution platform, the project connects artists who helped define New York rap with emerging performers shaping its next chapter.

The album’s arrival was celebrated in New York during a packed release experience at Brooklyn Chop House in Times Square. The event drew artists and tastemakers from across the city’s music scene, reinforcing the cultural weight behind the project.

Among those in attendance were Juelz Santana, Dave East, Jim Jones, Maino, Connie Diiamond, Neek Bucks, and actress Dascha Polanco.

The evening was hosted by DJ Whoo Kid, while EMG artists Shyst Vader and Beau’Joli also attended as central contributors to the album.

A Generational East Coast Lineup

What makes Reshaping The Culture stand out is the scope of its lineup. The compilation brings together more than fifteen artists spanning multiple generations of hip hop.

The album features Raekwon and Ghostface alongside artists such as Fabolous, Styles P, Juelz Santana, Max B, Dave East, Jim Jones, and Maino.

Additional appearances include Waka Flocka, Nems, Millyz, Connie Diiamond, and Nya Lee.

At the center of the project are EMG artists Shyst Vader and R and B vocalist Beau’Joli, who appear throughout the album and help connect its different musical styles.

Compilation projects like this have become rare in the streaming era, where artists often focus on solo releases. By bringing multiple voices together, the album revives a format that once played a major role in hip hop’s evolution.

Standout Records on the Project

Several records are already gaining attention from fans and DJs following the album’s release.

The title track Reshaping The Culture pairs Wu Tang Clan legend Raekwon with Shyst Vader. The record blends classic East Coast lyricism with contemporary production.

Another notable collaboration is One and Only, featuring Harlem artist Max B alongside Shyst Vader. The track highlights Max B’s signature melodic style while maintaining the gritty tone that defines much of the album.

The compilation also explores smoother territory with Slow It Down, a collaboration between Beau’Joli and Fabolous that introduces an R and B influence to the project.

A music video for Slow It Down debuted alongside the album release, helping build early momentum for the project across streaming platforms.

Produced by DJ Profluent and Jeff Burton

Behind the scenes the compilation was produced by DJ Profluent and executive produced by Jeff Burton.

Their goal was to create a project that allowed established hip hop voices and emerging artists to collaborate on the same platform.

Instead of chasing viral trends, the production focused on lyricism, storytelling, and authentic East Coast energy.

That approach reflects a broader conversation happening within hip hop today. Many fans have called for projects that highlight bars and collaboration rather than algorithm driven singles.

A Cultural Moment for New York Hip Hop

With more than fifteen artists appearing across the album, Reshaping The Culture captures a rare collaborative moment for the genre.

Projects like this highlight the continuing influence of New York hip hop while introducing new voices to audiences that grew up with the artists who built the culture.

Following the packed Times Square celebration and the album’s arrival on streaming platforms, the compilation is already generating conversation across hip hop circles.

If the early buzz continues, Reshaping The Culture could become one of the most talked about East Coast collaboration projects of the year.
